Game 12: Indians @ Yankees, 4/18/08

As per Mr. Abraham, below is the Yanks’ lineup with the starters’ track records versus the other team.  Wang looks to get his ERA under 20, if possible.  Anthony Claggett, who was 1-0 with a 3.38 ERA in five appearances at SWB, has been called up, and Juan Miranda has been sent down.  Robertson could not be recalled because, after being sent down, a player must wait 10 days before being recalled unless it is for an injury.  Hopefully Claggett fares well and adds his hat to the relievers’ ring.  As Frank the Sage and I discussed on the horn late last night, hopefully the Yanks don’t defibrillate another starter off to a poor beginning in Carmona. I’ll be tuning in to the game. Let’s Go, Yankees!

Before I forget, SWB won again today, 6-2, with Igawa getting his second win and Robertson the save,  SWB is now 10-0, most impressive.
