Game 113: Jays @ Yankees, 8/11/09

Below, as per Pete Abraham, is tonight’s starting lineup for the Yankees.  The Jays, meanwhile, seem to be harboring theirs as if it were a state secret, or e-mails detailing the role of a political hack engineering the ousting of a US attorney for political retribution.  Lots of lefties against the righty Richmond, including the return of JD and Matsui, and Hinske taking right for Swish.  The Yanks look to return to their winning ways after last night’s 5-4 loss, their first since August 1.  Joba also looks to rebound from his inefficient and subpar, if ultimately successful start last Thursday against Boston.  Seven strong would do the trick, Joba.  Enjoy the game, everyone.

YANKEES (69-43)
Jeter SS
Damon LF
Teixiera 1B
Rodriguez 3B
Matsui DH
Posada C
Cano 2B
Hinske RF
Cabrera CF

Pitching: RHP Joba Chamberlain (8-2, 3.73).

BLUE JAYS (54-57)
Lineup TBA

Pitching: RHP Scott Richmond (6-6, 3.97).
