Game 122: Yankees @ Red Sox, 8/21/09

Below, as per Pete Abraham, are tonight’s lineups.  The Yanks go to Fenway for the last time this regular season and have all their regulars in the lineup.  Marte has been activated, with Pena sent down to clear a spot for him.  Given his velocity issues and uneven work in rehabbing, I’m not sure what to expect from Marte, or how much I really want to see him pitch.  I certainly would prefer Coke and others in pressure situations this series.  Hopefully the Yanks can take two of three and put Boston in a really difficult spot.  Before I forget, Jim Rice can take his pathetically stupid comments that grafted Ramirez, A-Rod, and Jeter together in a baseless (in Jeter’s case) polyglot of professional self-absorption, and stick them up his dumb, plump, arrogant rear end.  No wonder why so many people couldn’t stand you, Rice.  You were and still are a colossal jerk.  Enjoy the game, everyone.

  1. What a game that was, huh Jason? I bet your post-game summary will be as lengthy as War and Peace. We got the win though, and my general concern ends there! (The rest of my concern, well, you don’t want to know how far that goes) =)
