Game 125: Rangers @ Yankees, 8/25/09

Below, as per Pete Abraham, are tonight’s lineups. Posada is back, catching Joba who makes his first start since August 16.  Hopefully Joba can be more efficient than he has been in many of his recent starts.  The Yanks return home after a terrific, 7-3 road trip.  Enjoy the game, everyone.

  1. hey i’m at an internet cafe in juneau. just wanted to say that girardi should be shot for that bunt. idiotic.

  2. Easily one of the worst decisions by a Yankees manager I can remember, right down there with out-thinking himself by starting Bruney to try to beat the rain or minimize its ramifications in KC last year. The guy’s knack for rescuing embarrassment from the jaws of elation knows no bounds I can detect.
