Carlos Pena Out for Year

After getting hit on the hand from an inside pitch from C.C. in the first, Pena left the game for X-Rays that showed he has two broken fingers.  His reaction in the dugout, throwing things and looking dismayed, probably presaged the eventual bad news.  That is bad news, both for Pena and the Rays, who now trail the Yanks by a hopeless 15 1/2 games, and Boston by 7 in the Wild Card race.
