ALCS Game 1: Angels @ Yankees, 10/16/09

Below, as per Sam Borden, is the Yanks’ lineup.  It is good to get back to watching baseball tonight.   It will be nasty and cold, though probably not rainy, for The Big Guy.  I like his chances tonight, and those of the Yanks.  It has been nasty and cold here in the Midwest for the last week, with lots of temperatures in the 40s, lows in the 30s, windy, and rainy.  That has extended east recently, but I am grateful for baseball tonight.  I have been working a lot of late nights and am exhausted, but am genuinely eager for the ALCS.  I owe people an HDLR, and will schedule one soon–tomorrow, perhaps?  This series should be fun and intense.  Get after it, Yanks.  No mercy, no mistakes.  Don’t beat yourselves.  Keep sticking to the formula–good pitching, solid defense, and clutch hitting.  Enjoy the game, everyone.
